Linley Beeches In 2007 Alight, a collective of artists including Fowler+Sumner, won a digital media commission in South Shropshire. The final exhibition, Blue Remebered Hills, toured the county as part of it is now on permanent display at the Secret Hills Discovery Centre in Craven Arms. As part of the commission, Martin Sumner produced the Linley Beeches font.
The font is made up from carvings on trees in the beeches avenue at Linley, near Bishops Castle. Each letter and number can be found carved somewhere on the beech trees.
