ONE - THE WORKING SOCIAL
Fowler+Sumner are developing a programme of events for emerging and established new media artists to come together and enjoy a day of creative exchange. The Working Social is an opportunity to create new work, experiment with new ideas, and share inspiration with a group of peers. On Sunday 19 October we ran our second event at The Hive, Shrewsbury, and on Friday 24 October The Working Social was at Hereford College of Arts as part of the Hello Digital Festival. Award-winning film-making Fowler+Sumner are proud to have worked recently on some award-winning film projects. Our work at Wheatley Park School in Oxford in June with 80 year seven pupils resulted in 14 short films called One Minute Histories. The films were screened at Newshoots 2008, a festival for screen work by secondary schools in Oxfordshire. Mark Reid of the British Film Institute awarded the combined One Minute Histories the prize of best overall film. Congratulations to our good friends at Wheatey Park. HVM presents A successful night of art and music versus the machines at The Hive, Shrewsbury. Live electronica, DJs, VJs, performance artists and cinema in one venue. MANGOTRASHER MASH
