Example
No.5,
Human Self-Reflection
(Clippers made in China)
Human Self-Reflection
is an installation work, with Example No.5 a single-screen linear film
alternative.
In the
installation piece, viewers are faced with a digital mirror, in which
their face is made up of sample video footage, forcing them to reflect
upon issues which they might usually ignore or deny - like environmental
catastrophe, or third world exploitation, or even their own inner beauty. |

The video
version is a representation of the mirror in action, with a man using
clippers to shave, and his image made up of footage from chinese factories.
The linear work is four minutes long.
